Federal Supply Code 2835, Gas Turbines and Jet Engines and Components for both Non-aircraft Prime Mover and Aircraft Non-prime Mover, includes all parts related to gas turbines and jet engines mainly for use on non-aircraft prime moves such as naval ship applications; aircraft non-prime movers such as airframe mounted auxiliary power units; and aircraft ground support equipment such as start carts. FSC 2835 also includes airflow deflectors, combustion chambers, compressors, turbines, and their components. Note that FSC 2835 does not include components for gas turbines or jet engines for aircraft prime movers, engine fuel systems, engine electrical systems, engine cooling systems, engine air/oil cleaners/filters/strainers, or engine accessories.
